Guatemala: Spectacular Central American Birding

Guatemala is a spectacular birding destination with more than 750 bird species. This trip is an exciting birding journey designed so that most birders see 320 to over 350 species in 10 days. Guatemala offers birders nearly 36 regional endemic bird species, endemic to Guatemala and neighboring countries.

 

We will find some of the many specialties, including White-bellied Chachalaca, Highland Guan, 

Ocellated Turkey, Pacific Parakeet, Fulvous Owl, Blue-throated Motmot, Belted Flycatcher, Long-

tailed Manakin, Bushy-crested Jay, Black-throated Jay, Black-capped Swallow, Rufous-browed Wren,

Rufous-collared Robin, Blue-and-white Mockingbird, Pink-headed Warbler, Azure-rumped Tanager, Bar-

winged Oriole and Gray-throated Chat.
