Brief Itinerary
Nature abounds in Thailand. It is host to over 1,000 birds, around 1,000 butterflies, 10,000 moths, over 300 reptiles and countless beetles and other insects. This tour was specially made to bird in the most important and beautiful locations in the North and Central Thailand. You will have the opportunity to see a great variety of spectacular birds, some extremely rare and endemic, and of course, enjoy the rich Thai culture.
From Mountain tops, rainforests, lakes, beaches, bamboo forest, expect to see over 400 bird species in this 18 day birding tour in paradise.
Day 1: Pick Up From Either Chiang Rai Airport or Hotel; Transfer to Chiang Saen for Our First Taste of Thai Birding

Day 2: Full Day Birding Chiang Saen Area

Day 3: AM Birding Chiang Saen Area and Transfer to Fang with Birding Along the Way

Days 4 & 5: Two Full Days Birding at Doi Lang
​
Day 6: AM Transfer and Full Day Birding at Doi Ang Khang
​
Day 7: AM Birding at Doi Ang Khang and PM Birding at Doi Chiang Dao
​
Day 8 & 9: AM Birding at Doi Chiang Dao and Mid-day Transfer to Doi Inthanon National Park With Afternoon Birding
Day 10: Birding Doi Inthanon NP in the AM & Mae Ping NP in the PM

Day 11 & 12: AM Birding in Mae Ping NP and PM Birding in Mae Wong NP

Day 13: AM Birding in Mae Wong NP; Mid-day Transfer to Bueng Boraphet

Day 14: AM Bueng Boraphet Birding & Driving South to Laem Pak Bia

Day 15: Full Day Birding and Boat Trip at Laem Pak Bia

Day 16 & 17: Birding at Kaeng Krachan National Park
