Inclusions: 

• The Tour package includes all lodging, meals*, and access fees to reserves, parks, and other birding sites.

• Premier Bird Guide: All of our tours use the services of an excellent bird guide, often a well-recognized expert on birding in this area. 

• Top-Rated Preparation Services: We support your preparation for the trip. We provide information on the birds you will see and all the travel details, including all logistical details (arrival plans, trip itinerary, lodging details, and more), information on entry into Thailand, and information on travel health issues, packing information, and more. Most clients comment that our Trip Participation Guide is the best they have ever seen.

• Transport and Airport Transfers: 

  • Local ground transport is included. This includes a large transport van for most of the trip. 

  • We also have a driver or guide pick you up at the airport upon arrival, transfers for internal flights are included, and we arrange for a transfer back to the airport at the end of the trip.  

• Acre for Bird Conservation: As part of our efforts to support bird conservation, we purchase in the name of customers (for each booking) at least one acre (but averaging between three and four acres) of wilderness to support bird conservation. As our trip prices are often 20% (and often even a better deal) less than our competition, this does not cost you more, and it is a great way to support bird conservation around the world.

• Small-Group Pricing: All the prices mentioned above are for tour groups of seven or eight participants.  We will offer reasonable small-group supplements for group sizes of 4 to 6.

• Private and Custom Group Pricing: We are glad to provide pricing for smaller groups (including couples) or custom groups.

*Pricing Notes and More Details:

 

• US Dollar Pricing: Most of these tour costs are fixed in Thai Baht (THB).  These prices are based on 33 THB to 1 USD (US Dollar). We like to avoid currency adjustment charges, but if the US Dollar slips more than 3% against the Thai Baht, we will need to charge a currency adjustment surcharge.

• British Pound Pricing: Most of these tour costs are fixed in Thai Baht (THB). These prices are based on 44 THB to 1 British Pound (GBP). We like to avoid currency adjustment charges, but if the GBP slips more than 3% against the Thai Baht, we will need to charge a currency adjustment surcharge. 

• Bank Fees: We do not charge bank fees for wire transfers for clients paying into our accounts in the United States, the United Kingdom, and/or Canada.

• Note on Meal Inclusion: Meals include three meals per day during any full day of the trip. The arrival day does not include meals. The departure day includes only breakfast, as most flights leave in the morning.

• Note on Beverage Inclusion: Most of our meals are provided by the lodges, and we follow their practices in providing beverages at meal time. Most beverages are your choice and are an additional expense that you pay to the restaurant or lodge directly. We provide water at the table for supper. We also provide bottled water during the birding day.

• Group Size: We anticipate a group of 7 or 8 participants, plus drivers and one or two guides, on most of these tours. Pricing is based on a group size of 7 or 8 participants.

 

Single Room Supplement: The single supplement is the price we charge anyone wanting a single room. Please let us know if you have a roommate (like a birding friend and/or spouse coming along).  We are also happy to try to find you a roommate. The single room price in 2026 for 17 nights is $1,180 USD or £890*, and lodging inflation increased this price in 2027 to $1,380 or £1,040*

 

Note: For extension, the single supplement is $380 USD or £290* for 5 nights. 

 

Tipping for Meals/Lodging: Gratuities for the tour leader, lead bird guide, drivers, hotel staff, and restaurant staff are not included in the pricing for this tour.
