Cuban endemics include Gundlach’s Hawk, Bee Hummingbird (smallest bird in the world), Cuban Trogon, Cuban Tody, Cuban Parakeet, Zapata Wren and twenty other endemic species.

In addition, there are over twenty West Indian endemics possible, including West Indian Whistling-Duck, Key West Quail-Dove, Great Lizard-Cuckoo, Loggerhead Kingbird and Western Spindalis.
