This trip is to one of the most well-known spring migration hotspots in the United States: High Island. Many popular sanctuaries will be visited, such as Boy Scout Woods, Smith Oaks Sanctuary, and Sabine Woods for passerines, Bolivar Flats for shorebirds, and Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge for wading birds and rails.
