Northeast: Nagaland and the Mishmi Hills

Visit some of India’s least-explored areas at its border with Myanmar and extreme northeast corner as we cover key birding sites from the floodplain of the mighty Brahmaputra River to an elevation of 2,655m in the Mishmi Hills.

Explore vast wetlands, marshy grasslands, lowland tropical forests, subtropical broadleaf forests with bamboo in the lower hills, and coniferous forests with rhododendron at higher elevations.
