The island’s scenery is some of the most dramatic in the region. More than 306 bird species are recorded. The trip journey is designed in order to observed about 100 species and most of the 32 Hispaniolan endemics in a 9 days trip.

In Hispaniola is recorded 32 endemic species, with include three unique endemic families and 6 endemic bird genera: Nesoctites (woodpecker), Dulus (Palmchat), Microligea (Hispaniolan tanager ), Xenoligea (Hispaniolan tanager), Calyptophilus (chat-tanagers) Phaenicophilus (Hispaniolan tanagers).
Beside spectacular birding, we will visit the cloud forest, pine savannahs, thorn scrub mangrove an historical Colonial City.

A World Heritage Sites is the Capital of Dominicana. Ciudad Colonial (Spanish for "Colonial City") is the historic central neighborhood of Santo Domingo and the oldest continuously inhabited European-established settlement in the of the Americas. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO We will visit two National Parks: Sierra de Barohuco and Los Haitises.
