Kansas Prairie-Chickens and Spring Migration Wetlands and Grasslands Birding

  • Another key part of the trip will be an early morning visit to a prairie-chicken lek.  This particular lek site will include a mix of both Lesser Prairie-Chickens and a few Greater Prairie-Chickens, offering the opportunity to study the differences in plumage, sounds and mating dance styles.
