| Xavier Munoz: Bird Guide Xavier is a conservationist by heart and tour guide by profession. He, Lelis Navarette and his wife (Mercedes) founded Neblina Forest International. They are the pioneers of providing guiding and related services to bird watchers in Ecuador. Xavier has guided groups from around the world, coming to Guyana, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. Xavier is known for his patience and understanding of people and his enthusiasm for guiding. He has lead numerous groups for over twenty years and has been a bird guide for nearly 15 years. He has been working as Board Member and has been mentor for both AVES & CONSERVACION (previously known as CECIA) and Jocotoco Foundation. Neblina Forest has established working relationships with organizations and companies dedicated to conservation and nature tourism. | Billie Gene "BG" Adams: Trip Host BG has been organizing trips for the "Lucky Brigade" in some manner of form over the last dozen years. She adds her enthusiasm for birding to the trip, but keeps the trip paced to be inclusive of nearly all birders. Though the group will aim to add many new life birds to its trip list, the group will go at a comfortable and leisurely pace. The luck of the group often bears out daily with a few genuine rarities. BG hosted over twenty trips for the Lucky Brigade to Costa Rica, Trinidad and Tobago, Ecuador and now Peru. They have had numerous trips to various birding locales in the United States as well, including Southeast Arizona, Alaska, Atlantic Coast, Northern California, South Texas and a number of others. |
