| Colorado has 13 well sought after birds and numerous others, making our back yard in Colorado one of the most enjoyable birding trips for bird watchers. Every birder wants stunning looks at these leks in the spring, watching displaying Lesser Prairie-Chicken, Greater Prairie-Chicken, Gunnison Sage-Grouse (Colorado's endemic species) and Greater Sage-Grouse. The three Rosy-Finches are gorgeous birds, and their huge flocks can be spectacular. Also in the high mountains, we will help you find White-tailed Ptarmigan and Blue Grouse. Then to the grasslands for McCown's Longspur, Chestnut-collared Longspur, and Mountain Plover. Always remember, Colorado offers several other specialities, and Mike is sure to help you find them. Mike Flieg has been offering Colorado Grouse trips for over twenty years.
